Friday Five: Podcasts

For your Friday listening, here are 5 podcasts (out of several) that I really enjoy and keep me up to speed on our current culture.

1. This American Life: Amazing stories that are immaculately produced. The best of the best, in my opinion.
2. The Moth: Stories told live on stage without notes. Hilarious and heartbreaking.
3. The Sound of Young America: Great interviews with really interesting people. Covers a wide range of topics from music to comedy to pop culture.
4. Comedy Death Ray: A comedy show featuring some of America’s best comedians.
5. Radiolab: Another great storytelling podcast out of NYC. I recently stumbled across it when I heard this amazing story titled Finding Emilie.
6. OK, bonus #6 - TED: This one goes without saying, I’m sure, but these are short, easily accessible lectures on all sorts of groundbreaking topics. They’re full of food for thought and I’ve rarely seen one that doesn’t leave me pondering for days.
